Option 1: ‘Dealing with Difficulty’ by Pere Cortiella.
Pere has been teaching English to kids and teens in Barcelona for almost 20 years, and specializes in teaching extracurricular English classes. Not only has he trained teachers for the Generalitat, but he’s also written coursebooks for primary aged students. In this very practical session, he’ll share lots of ideas for dealing with tricky classes and students.
Option 2: ‘The Flipped Classroom’ by Rubens Heredia
Rubens Heredia is a CELTA tutor and teacher trainer based at Oxford House. As well as working with teacher training and development since 2012, he is one of the creators of the website and YouTube channel What is ELT? and is also a vlogger for the magazines ETprofessional and Modern English Teachers (Pavilion ELT). In this session, he’ll talk about how to get your students doing more legwork outside of class.

Option 1: ‘Tips and tricks for teaching CAE and CPE’ by Tim Warre
Tim is a Barcelona based teacher, teacher trainer and blogger, who many of you will know from his famous ‘Tim’s Free Lesson Plans’ website! He’s going to share some titbits from his wealth of experience with high level exam classes
Option 2: ‘Motivation and oral interaction’ by Cristina Alcaraz
As well as being a teacher trainer on the Oxford House ELE course, Cristina has worked and collaborated with different European universities as an ELE teacher, as well as a teacher trainer at the Cervantes Institute in Milan. In this session in Spanish, she’ll give us some ideas for how to get our students talking!
